#fediHelp #learningQuestion:

Is there a way to tell castopod which php version to use if several options are available on a VPS installation, for example with a line in the .env file?

In other software the following is used:
'php_path' => '/usr/bin/php'
'php_path' => '/etc/php/8.1/fpm/'

@utopiarte @studi0 @howto Selecting PHP version is not done by Castopod, this is done by your web server configuration.
CloudPanel does that very well for you.

Thx for the reply @Castopod !

We managed to define it in:
/etc/apache2/sites-available/castopod.domain.com-le-ssl.conf

<FilesMatch \.php$> # 2.4.10+ can proxy to unix socket SetHandler "proxy:unix:/run/php/phpX.y-fpm.sock|fcgi://localhost" </FilesMatch>

This is part of a howTo's for ubuntu VPS installations we are working on:

@Castopod

May we add a feature request?

Being able to create drafts with no content at all.

To create a draft you need to fullfil lot's of basics like a audio file, (with the correct extension), description or other things, not sure right now which are all the mandatory options.

More than once, using desktop firefox, an idea, the basic work got lost because something was missing. That's tedious.

Sometimes it's a bookmark kind of idea one would like to save as a draft, like only the titel.
