Mufidiwiwhi is a program built on top of Whisper that will transcript audio files with reliable speaker diarization, by using one file per speaker. For free.

@carrabelloy Castopod will take care of everything: Once you have installed it, it will allow you to upload the file to the server where it's installed.
Note that a future version (quite soon…) will allow you to use S3 buckets.

But that will change when we support the alternateEnclosure tag (no ETA yet).

@droidboy Ich finde gerade spannend mit @Castopod zu experimentieren, hab’s mal unter https://BundesCast.de installiert und bin fasziniert, wie man zB über Mastodon-Accounts abonnieren und kommentieren kann. Ich hab so ein „that changes everything“-Gefühl… ansonsten finde ich Vielfalt der Modelle gut, besser als „es gibt nur einen Monopolisten, der alles kontrolliert“, egal ob Community-, Plattform-, und/oder Ad-Monetarisierung.

One cool thing about Nostr: your identity does not rely on a specific server as it does on Mastodon/ActivityPub, but only on your private key.
So you could go on any server (a Castopod instance for example), and there like, share or comment any content, using the local Nostr relay, without having to go back and forth to your home server as you have to do on Mastodon.
With Nostr, home is everywhere.
