The Transcript tag will provide better discoverability, better accessibility, better searchability.

For the past 30 years, Internet was developed with hyperlinks, […] except for podcasting. […] So we think there is a need for a recommendation tag which will allow podcasters to say: “If you liked this podcast, if you liked this episode, or if you liked this chapter, probably you should listen to this other one”. […] There are many reasons why you would want, as a podcaster, to recommend another podcast, or episode, or chapter, or anything else.

Cut out the middleman.
Stay in control.
The podcast IS the social network.
